My Client-First Philosophy My career in the housing industry literally started from the ground up as a young carpenter/framer in Boulder, CO back in 1976. Upon moving to Morro Bay, CA in 1979 I established a long successful residential general contracting business, the Forrester Company. Building and designing custom homes and additions while keeping the client’s wishes in front became a listening skill I pride myself in today. Michelle and I moved to Boise in 1993 and have raised two kids here. You learn a lot about a community as a parent. My home building skills translated into working with buyers and sellers in both new developments and existing homes. Knowing the components, trends and hazards of the homes has proved to be invaluable to my clients. Working with developers enabled me to become more involved in land issues and values. Today I share my knowledge with all my clients in both our new projects and existing homes. Referrals have been a huge source of business for me. I am an active member of the Urban Land Institute, the National Association of Home Builders, Idaho Smart Growth and the American Land Institute volunteering on numerous land issues.
